vintage crewel kit: hummingbird 2

i ain't too cool for crewel.

it didn't take long to pick up the crewel again. honestly, i was ready to finish it the next day- it's a great companion while watching the olympics (super human abilities are captivating). some of the stitches were repeats from the first flower (shout out to french knots!), and some were new- including the biggins: long and short stitch. it's so big that it had to be set up with an entirely different stitch.
